Please remember that the journey plan outputs all the available connections between two stations. This is especially useful for stations where different lines depart from the same, or close-by platform, and the line you take will be determined by the first, or least crowded train to arrive.

The application does provide for this. Add all the stations in your journey, including tube interchanges, and the application should take into account what line and direction you are changing to in providing the best carriage recommendation.

The system presents only stations reachable from the previous station. Some stations may be on the same line, but on different branches, and therefore not directly reachable. We are considering developing versions for other platforms as well. At the moment we are very happy with the experience provided by the Apple iPhone and would recommend this phone first. Keep a look out though, it may happen sooner rather than later.

In certain stations, for certain lines, the train may depart from either side of the platform, or even from multiple adjacent platforms. In such cases the train is shown with platforms on both sides. Be sure to check the direction of the train when orienting yourself to the correct carriage position.
